That means, for apparel we prefer Certified Organic Cotton whenever possible as well as Bamboo and Tencel. Bamboo, for clothing, is wonderfully soft and bacteria resistant so it takes longer to develop odors than other materials.
However, we realize that you also need choices so we offer products made from recycled, biodegradable, and compostable materials. We stay away from products that are only "recyclable" and not made from recycled content or natural plant content, such as corn based pens.
We carry wood products made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certified woods or bamboo, which regenerates on its own and naturally doesn’t require pesticides or synthetic fertilizers.
